The Malawi Police Service (MPS) confirms of an existing warrant of arrest against Mr. Bon Kalindo for an offence of Insulting the President contrary to section 4 of Protected Flags, Emblems and Names Cap. 18.03 of the Laws of Malawi.

The Malawi Police Service confirms the arrest of Honourable Joseph Mwanamveka, MP and Dr. Dalitso Kabambe on suspicion that they committed an offence of Abuse of office contrary to section 95 (1) and procured the commission of an offence of Fraudulent false accounting contrary to section 335 (A) of the Penal Code.
